Metro West Station & 31-storey Tower Development

Pyrmont Metro Station (Union St & Pyrmont Bridge Rd) is foreshadowed to revitalise the western gateway to the CBD. It is vital that the project also enhances public amenity for Pyrmont residents and businesses.

The station is now under construction with a 31-storey mixed-use tower approved to proceed to DA.

Pyrmont Action worked to reduce the tower height but has lost this battle with the NSW Government. We remain committed to minimising construction disruptions while advocating for the development to include affordable housing, public amenities and a Police Station.

We also insist that best-practice design and safe, upgraded infrastructure accompany the expected increase in residents and businesses, so that enhanced public amenity is maintained.
