The Star precinct is a major feature of Pyrmont. Its 24/7 operations means that there is greater risk of anti-social behaviour, noise, local disturbances, and general disruptions resulting from patrons entering and leaving the premises.
The increased traffic volumes in and around the casino also causes issues for residents not faced by other suburbs.

It is critical we have open and regular contact with the management of the casino to understand what is occurring in the business and to provide a mechanism for the quick and easy tabling of community concerns and issues.
